Proposed 49-story residential tower on the corner of Lower Spadina and Queens Quay W (BDP Quadrangle)

A very large 49 story residential tower has been proposed for 10 Lower Spadina Avenue (Spadina and Queens Quay West) at the Eastern edge of the Bathurst Quay neighbourhood.

There is one virtual public consultation meeting planned on January 9 – the link to register is below to address any concerns about building height, population density in an already densely populated waterfront, traffic congestion, parking issues, the impact on light and the streetscape, etc.

Zoning By-law Amendment application for a 49-storey mixed use building (not including mechanical penthouse), containing approximately 128 square metres of non-residential floor area at grade, and 511 apartment dwelling units. The proposed development has a gross floor area of approximately 32,363.6 square metres and a floor space index of approximately 20.46 times the lot area.
